Here in this darkness
It's here I silently hide
While alone I sit in silence
I lose sight of all that's mine.
Trapped in this vast space
I hear the echos of screams
While I realize they are mine
I hear the tearing of my dreams.
Trapped here in the bleakness
It's here I silently cry.
As I lay bruised and broken
It's here I slowly die.
The darkness takes me
It overwhelms my kind
Succumbing to the shadow
I slowly lose my mind.
