It's easy to tell if your young child is obsessed with dinosaurs. Does he show any of these signs? If the answer is yes, then he is definitely obsessed.

1. He has named his two goldfish Brontosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus.

2. He wants to change his name to Tyrannosaurus Rex, but says you can call him Tyran.

3. He has learnt all the names of the dinosaurs, remembers them and recites them to you constantly; so constantly that you now know them all too!

4. His collection of dinosaurs has taken over his room and it is now impossible to clean.

5. He only wants to watch films with dinosaurs in them. When you say he shouldn't watch so many films, he argues that they are educational and again recites all the names of the dinosaurs.

6. He studies books of dinosaurs when not watching films about them, getting overly excited when he finds a new name to learn.

7 His knowledge of dinosaur history would make any historian proud.

8. He always wears a dinosaur costume and wants you to do the same.

9. He is waiting for his pet lizard to grow into a dinosaur

10. He keeps hoping a dinosaur will hatch out of his boiled egg.

Always humour his obsession. Who knows maybe you will then become obsessed too and will be able to enjoy his passion with him.
