DNC/ miscarrage
I have had 2 miscarriages in the past 6 months. The first time I had a DNC the 2nd I did not. I recently went back to my OB-GYN, they took a pregnancy test because I haven't had a period yet. Its only been a month and a half since the last miscarriage, the test came out positive, he sent me for blood work and the levels were elevated, I go back again on Friday for another so they can compare, to see if its going up, to see if its a true pregnancy or if the levels are elevated from the miscarriage. I have noticed that my stomach is very very blotted almost like being 7 months pregnant, I am nauseous in the evening, it hurts to push on my stomach. I am fearful that I have cervical or ovary issues, I'm also fatigue. Could any of this happen from not getting a DNC? If there is still tissue inside me from the miscarriage could it cause me to blot like this? Would it be toxic? I am very worried. I have a 7 year old daughter and want to be here for her for a very long time. I go back Monday to find out the results of the quantity test, but I really believe there is something wrong. What do you think? The blotting and nausea worry me most. What should I ask the Dr.? What kind of tests should be done?
It is very good that you are going to the doctor and keeping up with what is going on. And a miscarriage can be a very scary ordeal but our bodies "if we listen" will tell us that something is not right and yours is speaking to you. As for questions to ask the doctor I would tell him what you have told me and "listen" very carefully to what they tell you. It could be various things going on and because I am not a doctor I do not want to guess and upset you more that what you already are. But be encouraged and "stay focus on getting the answers you seek" if not from this doctor then try another. For as you said you have a beautiful 7-year baby girl and you do need to be around for her. Life does not always give us a fair shake but it was once said and not trying to make light of your problem but when "life gives you lemons then make lemonade," sound advise in my opinion and keep prayer in your life as well for there is a higher power at work in our lives even if we do not choose to believe.
