by Lupine

Statistically teenagers the most likely drivers to have accidents. They just do not have the experience they need to avoid accidents. What can you do about this?

Allow them to drive as often as possible with you or another responsible adult in the car to watch them and help them learn. Then they can get the experience they need to really learn how to drive and to drive safely. This will help them avoid getting into accidents.

Limit how much driving they do without you or another responsible adult in the car to help them. This too will help to keep them from getting into accidents.

Drill into them how important it is that they pay attention At All Times while driving a vehicle. Many teens worry more about what is on the radio or who is calling or texting them on their cell phones than they do about their driving. Accidents waiting to happen.

Make sure your teen never drives home from parties where alcohol is available. The inexperience combined with a alcohol is a deadly combo. If your teen is going to drink tell them to just stay overnight at the place they are drinking at.

The best thing you can do to help your teen drive safely is to get them the experience they need behind the wheel. with experience they will be able to avoid most accidents.
