Dressed for success: Leading by example

by Wrldnbw

I. From their organized briefcases and desks to their pressed, three piece suits and shiny leather shoes. People of power are dressed for success. While it is true that most leaders are confident individuals that have strong personalities with above average IQ's, there are some leaders that are just symbols of success and become accepted as a leader because of the clothes they wear and the way they look. People are drawn to symbols of power and when the symbol of importance is measured by the way someone looks it becomes easier to see that it is not necessary to be a genius to be in a position of power. Once a leader is accepted then it becomes important that they possess good leadership qualities because the accepted leader is judged on his actions and not by the way, he looks.

II. In the UK, they are ruled by parliament where the leaders of their country are recognized by the crown they wear. This is the only country where there are born leaders. This can be a good thing as they are prepared from birth to learn what they need to learn to successfully run the country. Not all of the royal family was born royal, as we know from the marriage of Prince Charles. Each appearance of the Royal Family is an awesome experience from the visual attraction they present and after the addition of beauty and grace with Princess Diana, it became easy to see why so many people would follow the leaders of royalty. With the long red carpets, beautiful crowns, and flowing robes progressing to the 20th century with Princess Diana always are a vision of sheer loveliness. Until her death, she was always in high demand for photographs and became the most photographed woman ever. She also helped many people by making guest appearances at fundraising events during her reign and set the pace for fashion throughout the entire world.

III. The United States forces are where you will find the strongest of leaders. Training begins as a soldier and slowly progresses with each stripe they earn to a higher-ranking official. The leaders are physically fit to fight and equipped with various educational powers in the area the soldier chooses. The leaders in our military are recognized by the stripes they wear. Our Sergeants have more stripes than our soldiers do and Lieutenants have more than Sergeants do. This continues with Coronals all the way up to the Chief of Staff or our President. Although the President is not necessarily a military leader but he is in charge of all military personnel once he gains the position of Presidency. It is important that the leaders of our forces be prepared in case of a war to follow orders without fail.

IV. The military leaders are courageous, hard working, well trained and always prepared to fight for their country. This is a valiant and honorable position of leadership in every sense of the word. Whether it is a Coronal in his military uniform with stripes up and down his arm, any member of the American forces is a leader in their own right In addition, our soldiers are constantly decorated with stars and stripes for every rank and position of enrollment. No matter what kind of leader you are, the one thing that remains true is to always be dressed for success.
