There are many exercise you can at home without any equipment.
Most of them are lumped into a term called "calisthenics."
These include, push ups, crunches, squats, and jumping jacks.
For a more advanced routine include mountain climbers-
- rest your weight on your extended hands and feet like a push up. Then begin raising one leg at a time up to waist level and alternating. This is a common and brutal exercise used in the military.
Head stand push ups-
-This exercise starts by standing on your head with your body positioned against a wall. Then use your shoulder muscles to push yourself into a handstand against the wall. The less weight you have against the wall the better the exercise.
If you have stairs in your house then you can use these as a means of exercise.
If you are already in phenomenal shape then any form of gymnastics can be done at home and will give you an incredible work out. A good way to build up to gymnastics is to begin learning break dancing. The first few moves are easy but quickly build up your stabilizer muscles.
Finally, yoga, martial arts, and basic Pilates can be done without equipment and at home. But you will need an instructional video or training to do these properly.
So in conclusion, many exercises can be done in your house without equipment. However, none of them will give you the "in shape" look as fast as lifting weights and hour long cardio sessions with a healthy diet.
