Heaven Can Wait
Heaven can wait till it's time to go,
For here I have suffered; felt very low,
I want to be near to Heavenly Father,
So he'll bless me from above as all others.
I crave the touch of an angel so meek,
The thought of slight touch makes me weak,
To see the glimmer of the peaceful light,
Encourages me to start loving myself despite.
All the hardship and anger I leave behind,
Waiting to be freed from the anger deep inside,
It's been a tough journey from the start,
Every bit of loss stole a piece of my heart.
When God bids me to the light I'll go gently,
Walking with my angel as God sends for poor me,
I'll thank the Lord for gracing me with open arms,
For taking my soul even though it is sadly marred.
