Without a doubt, celebrities do deserve to have some level of provacy, though I must say it will be quite limited due to their status as a public figure. To me, celebrities are just like us, any other person in the common public, except that perhaps that are more famous and recognizable than most of us on the roads.
I believe that none of us would want out privacy to be invavded, especially when we are with our family and friends, whom sometime due to our own lives, do not get to meet up as often as we would want too.
Similarly for a celebrity, their schedules are ten times more hectic than ours and for them to spend a little private time with their loved ones would be considered as a luxury. And yet, as a public figure, they tend to get swarmed by their fans (if they are famous enough), resulting in them having to accede the requests for photographs, signing for the fans, etc. These would no doubt make the family and friends of the celebrity somewhat upset as it meant reducing in their whatsoever little prcious thime that they get to spend with him/her. And should the clebrities try to politely reject these requests, people who are not so understanding would label them off as being arrogant, snobbish, proud, etc, which is quite unfair to the celebrity, who is just trying to make full use of the time for their loved ones.
In another instance, the celebrities are always being follwoed by reporters or in some cases parrazzi, hoping to discover some juicy news for thier headlines. In some cases, this type of tailing may result in undesirable consequences, which we have seen in newspapers. I shall not mention them here as it may contradict some laws.
Nevertheless, I strongly believe that celebrities, if not for their highly public profile, they are just like anyone of us and thus deserve to have their own privacy and not be intruded upon.
