Sometimes, I must confess
As I breathe in the scent of your skin
As you trace the curve of my hips
As we hold each other tightly
and whisper sweet little secrets in the dark
I watch you and smile
you don't notice my eyes
drinking you in, holding you in,
drawing pictures of you in my heart
to clutch to when you're gone
So I watch you and smile
And hope you won't be away long
And when you kiss me softly
I like how your eyelashes tickle my cheek
And when I look at you and you look at me
I smile because i see you are happy too
And I smile because I'm exquisitely in love with you
So I watch the rise and fall of your chest
while you sleep
And I think to myself,
-So this is love.
