Evaluating Supercuts

Are you a risk taker? Do you love to gamble? Are your bangs so long that people are starting to call you 'Cousin It'? These three factors might indicate a trip to the Supercuts.

Supercuts is a popular hair salon franchise where one can walk in and get a reasonably priced haircut without an appointment. The quality of the haircut depends entirely upon the stylist you end up with. Great haircuts can happen at Supercuts, but so can the occasional hair catastrophe. Some people aren't willing to risk their precious locks on a cheap trim, but the surprise aspect adds a little something for spontaneous people who aren't too concerned about their coif.

Hair Stylists of all different backgrounds and expertise are hired by Supercuts. All employees hired by Supercuts must first complete training through a certified beauty school and exhibit sufficient experience and willingness to continue their training. Both training and personal talent can affect a stylist's technique. Since the prices are set at a reasonable level, you can expect that the Picassos and Rembrandts of the hair-styling world won't stay long in a chain where income potential is limited. Supercuts' stylists will usually be sufficient at their jobs, but not extraordinary.

If you're looking for the best haircut in your life, you'll need to make an appointment and an investment at one of the more high-profile hair boutiques. There's nothing wrong with an economy cut, but as with most products and services, you get what you pay for.
