FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS
My heart was talking why couldn't you listen
Every beat of my heart was a tribute to you
Wise woman once told me to follow my instincts
Why couldn't I listen why didn't I say the words
I kept on smiling you kept on talking
But nothing would surface beneath my soul
Days turned longer nights took forever
You moved on to someone with open feelings
Now I'm wise old woman and telling you this
Follow your instincts
Listen your heart
