There can be innumerable tips for helping our kids in 'developing cross-patterning skills'. But before I start to write my tips I would like to say that a child is at a very vulnerable state up to the age of five . I mean to say that up to the age of five he should be given all the protection needed and after that we can start to leave him to develop his 'skills' on his own little by little with the growing age. Let me explain a little more - protect your child up to the age of five and then slowly leave him to develop and grow with his own experiences. The more you will leave him, more independent he will be.
Coming back to the title, according to me the above introduction is a good way to explain how a child can make his cross-patterning skills more solid. Here are some useful tips :
1. Leave your child to experience those moments alone.
2. Let him decide on his own how to cope with them.
3. Just be there to advise him if you find him going on the wrong track.
4. Right from the start your child should be clear in his mind that he has to DO IT ALONE.
5. Never be over-protective.
6. Let him find the solutions himself.
7. Put him in competition with other children.
8. Encourage him from time to time.
9. Punish him wherever necessary.
10. Go about and think of ways when learning the Cross-patterning skills
become enjoyable for your child.
I hope the above tips contribute in some way or the other toward helping the growing children to develop their cross-pattering skills in the same way as MY HELIUM contributes fully toward increasing the knowledge of its readers and justifies its title 'WHERE KNOWLEDGE RULES'.
My best wishes to all those who read my article.
