Firstly before trying to color your hair blonde make sure it will suit you, it may not suit your complexion, it could make you look hard faced or pale, so just be a hundred percent sure its what you really want.

Secondly having your hair bleached blonde can really dry your hair out, you may find you have to condition your hair every time you wash it, to make it soft and manageable.

Many years ago i tried to bleach my hair blonde and it turned out orange, i went to a salon that someone recommended, the stylist just put more bleach on my hair with extra peroxide in it so that the orange will lift, but i ended up with a very sore scalp, i was left to sit in pain as the peroxide was burning me, i kept telling the stylist but she kept saying "just a little longer", although my hair color looked really lovely, my scalp blistered, so i couldn't brush or comb my hair properly for days.

So if you do end up making this mistake and sending your hair an orangey color,
when you go to a salon or if you get someone to do it for you, make sure you don't over do it with the peroxide, its not only bad for your scalp it could also break off your hair. When bleaching your hair, after so long get hold of a piece of your hair and pull it, if it feels like chewing gum, then rinse your hair immediately,
this is a sign that your hair is going to break, so if you leave it on longer you may find your hair falling out in clumps when you are washing it.

The other alternative when your hair has gone orange, is to go back to a darker shade, one thats more natural to you, and never try it again, unless you go to a top salon and have someone professional do it for you, if anything goes wrong there
they will be liable.
