Alec Baldwin: Is he right or wrong in his parent role

Who but Alec and Ireland Baldwin could know the full story about his publicly broadcast tirade chastising his 11 year old daughter? It's a little sickening how these armchair moralists have gotten their panties in a twist about this entire episode and it's utterly revolting how the pinhead outfits proclaiming legitimate media status are gleefully picking over the bones of this family's private turmoil and blanketing the airwaves with this nonsense.

He has apologized, repeatedly, to the only person for whom it matters...his daughter. What would it take for this to all go away, huh? Would the hand-wringers be appeased to have Mr. Baldwin flog himself in the middle of Times Square? Or perhaps if he donated a million dollars to child abuse charities, his sins would be properly absolved by the Church of Prurient Voyeurism and Equivocating Moralists. How many of these judgmental finger-pointers are active in REAL child abuse causes? You need only to read the local paper to find horrifying and daily news reports of how the despicable among us torment the children in our own neighborhoods. These aren't the children of movie stars in midst of a custody battle, they are children who expect much worse from their parents than stern words.

Get a life people and have some perspective on the matter. Alec Baldwin is an actor...the only expectation you should have of him is to be entertaining. Whether or not he's a good parent is of concern only to the people impacted...his family.
