Do you struggle to find bills and financial paperwork in your home? do you lay awake at night wondering where your car insurance policy is?
There is a simple solution. Simply purchase a lever arch or storage box with divided sections and use it to store all this information in one place.
Label each section of the file/files with suggestions such as bank statements, credit cards, joint account, car information, house insurance, mortgage. Then file everything within its relevant section. The first time you do this it will take some time but if you stay in the habit it becomes a really quick and second nature job.
You can even use this system to store information about warranties for your electrical goods!
Periodically it is a good idea to go through and throw away anything which is not vital. However, you must be careful when doing this - the most sensible idea is to invest in a small paper shredder as this will protect you more from identity fraud. These shredders are available at stationers and office suppliers.
