Avoiding the Greener Grass Syndrome: How to Grow Affair Proof Hedges Around Your
Marriage by Nancy C. Anderson is an excellent book to read even before you are
married and the reason I stress this is because it makes the reader understand how
serious that it is to enter this kind of commitment. It also addresses the fact
that problems will arise and that you can't run out of the door as soon as something
does not go your way. It gives us a more realistic view of love and real life.
Many young people rush into marriage expecting and wanting that "initial
rush" continuously in the relationship. And when it is not there they feel justified
to stray. Most don't even consider the consequences. This book, which has earned
an all-star rating, stresses the importance of communication between a husband
and wife. It equips the reader with the proper tools to preserve their marriages.
This is one book that I own and keep in my library. It is available online at
Amazon.
A Good Housekeeping Cookbook would make a great gift for any bride.
