It is beneficial to be assertive. To put it plainly, an assertive person will typically always know where they are headed, where they have been, and where they are!

Usually an assertive person has been so for a long time. In being this sort of character they quickly realize the power of knowing what they want. The following are areas in an assertive characters life that are greatly benefited

1.) At work assertive people tend to be in a position of authority. If one talks like they know what is right for themselves and others then others will listen.

2.) Romantic relationships tend to be easier for both parties. Because assertive people have a great sense of self their relationships allow both people to be themself.

3.) Their social life is great due to knowing how a great friend can benefit them and vice versa.

Being assertive can be a gift. It allows you to glide through life with an understanding of exactly what you want from it and being able to voice that to yourself and others.
