What you should know about buying a computer

Buying a computer there are so many models and brands and it is easy to be talked into buying something you don't need.

The first thing you need to do is to think about what you will be using your PC for, if you want it for the Internet and Microsoft office etc then you don't need the top of the range computer. if you are not in the know about PC's it might be a good idea to go to a PC shop that build PC's, and they will find out what you will be using it for and then they can build it to meet your needs.

Or if you are buying a ready made PC it will all depend on your budget and your needs, and where you are buying it from. you can just be going round in circles people saying look for CPU speed, memory, graphics cards, HDD this can make things even more confusing, all well and good if you know about these things but not everyone does.

If you don't know much about PC's and are going to buy one take someone with you who does, or go to a reputable shop they will advice you.

If you are going to use your PC for Gaming then you are going to need a high spec PC, i personally would not use my PC for Gaming i use a games system but again it's down to the individual.

So to finish of 1. what will you be using your PC for, 2. what you want to connect to it, 3. will it be used to play games on, 4. buy a well known brand then if anything goes wrong they will be easier to repair.
