Testimonies: Overcoming adversity

For us humans we've got to overcome adversity by looking it full in
the eyes and not showing our fear. We've got to tell ourselves that we are
better then that, that we won't bow down to that low level. Where we can't
allow ourselves to have any negative feelings. For with these negative
feelings comes sadness and sorrow. Where if we've had enough sorrow in our

lives it could ruin our spirit. We don't want it to ruin our spirit of good
ness and hope and faith. We can overcome adversity by believing, by having
the faith and the goodness of God.
When we are filled with distress it seeps all our energies and we feel
drained. Its when we turn things around to the positive, to a better sense
of perspective that we can overcome adversity. Where we have hope, have
faith, have believe that we can get through anything. If we have too many
negative things getting in there, letting them into our hearts we block off
things, we let dark things in, and are clouded with doubt. When we are so
clouded with doubt we can't see the bright light.
Its the bright light that we are trying to strive for that we are trying
to get near. When someone comes long and zaps their negative energy at us
then we go back. Where we have to get back on track, back to that path that
leads us to the light. Where there is light there is love, where there is love
there is peace. At times we make our own adversity, but we've got to stand up
to it. We've got to overcome it put it in God's hands, in the Higher Power and
see that only love will prevail.
When love prevails then we know that we can get through any test that comes
along. Whether its in the form of friendship, of relations with another we can
look adversity in the eye and know that we've overcome any obstacle in the way.
Then we can forgive and move on and carry on towards other challenges, other things
that come along.
