How to tie up loose ends before you resign

Growing up in America, I have been raised to be considerate and respect authority figures like your boss. This has lead me to over-estimate most companies I have worked for. The employee, especially in today's world is always at a negative advantage. There is no loyalty to anything but the dollar in today's workforce. This being said, to tie up loose ends may be a lot of work for nothing, it may even be counter-productive. The only card you have at the end of the day is your quit card. Bosses have a large amount of young people right out of college who are willing to find work, no matter what they are getting paid, and they love this because once they work until a few years before there pension, they can be replaced too. Adding to this corporations are now outsourcing as many jobs as they can to foreign countries to increase there bottom line, hiring illegal immigrants to fill slots once held by the middle class, replacing employees with technologies and stealing as much as they can from pension funds. To boot they are doing all this while preaching the American values of hard work and patience. Don't tell me that "this is not what my job would do" or "it doesn't happen everywhere" because tomorrow you could very well be apart of this.

So take my advice and do the bare minimum, try as hard as you can to get the most out of a job, while doing the least and leave without any notice, when they need you the most. This may help turn around the workforce of America and at the very least make your specific company more employee conscious
