find a way to live, as the prophecy stated by Professor Trelawney suggests, that neither Harry or Voldemort can live, while both are alive. Lord Voldemort will be ultimately destroyed, and Harry will rise from the ashes, like a phoenix.
The recurring themes of the phoenix suggest, that Harry will return, rising from the dead, just as the phoenix does. Harry's resurrection would also tie into the nearly biblical themes in this series. Harry will likely take solace that his dead loved ones, are living on another plain beyond death and know peace. Harry needs to make peace with himself, before he can confront the Dark Lord, with the calm and resolve that is required.
Sirius Black will not make a return to the land of the living, but will encounter Harry beyond the veil and encourage him to return, after making his life sacrifice. Dumbledore will also pay a visit to Harry and support him as well. Both mentors could be the final push that Harry needs to destroy Voldemort in the after life.
The life debt between Harry and Peter Pettigrew suggested in book three, The Prisoner of Azkaban, will also come into play, when Wormtail, will realize, that he owes Harry his life, thus intervening on the boy wizard's behalf before being killed.

Snape, will likely be revealed as acting under Dumbledore's order, to do whatever it took to remain in a position to assist Harry. We will learn that Albus was dying from all the rigors of showing Harry the truth, and that Snape's Aveda Kedavra was actually a mercy with a purpose: To fool the Deatheaters. Snape's credibility would no longer in doubt, as was suggested in the chapter Spinner's End of book six when Bellatrix Lestrange questioned his loyalties. Snape will be able to plant himself that much closer to Voldemort in a position of power to protect and assist Harry in the end.
Snape's belief that he owed Harry a life debt, went above and beyond the events of the first book, when Snape interfered with Quirrel's attack during the Quidditch match. Snape might in fact be killed by either Harry, or Wormtail. Harry will learn, too late, that Snape was actually on his side. This revelation will sober
