Websites and referrals

It seems that every new day brings hundreds of websites that claim you can make money, be it millions of dollars, hundreds, or a quick twenty. What they don't tell you is that it is nearly impossible (notice I said 'nearly') to earn good money on your own. You need referrals. You need others to do the work for you who is doing work for someone else who is doing work for someone else. Plus you get money from the people who were referred by the people you referred. It becomes a huge pyramid of people all completing offers, visiting websites, writing, and doing other things benefitting someone else. The more referrals you have, the more money you will make.

myLot is like this. Sure, you can earn on your own, but with referrals you can increase the amount you earn exponentially! Some sites don't even let you in unless you were referred by someone, like Moola.

Then there are the ever-so-famous "Free Gift" sites. The ones that everyone sees in the advertisements "You have won a free* laptop!" It's really not free at all. It's cheaper, for you. You may only need to make a 20 dollar purchase, but in order to receive your free gift, you also need...referrals. You need to get others to join the site and complete an offer, sometimes over 20 people, before you can get your "free" gift.

80 per cent of the websites out there need referrals if you are looking to actually make money or get something out of it. In my opinion, you can be much more successful by starting your own website with a unique idea that you have put together, more than you would earn with a referral-based program where you need hundreds of others joining under you to earn a significant amount of money.
