Years of sorrow,
Hurt and pain.
Gathered anguish and made insane.
Yet here I am, and sad to see.
Just what your love
Has done to me.
Years of sadness.
Regret and tears.
Many heartaches and untold fears.
Can I do it? Can I see?
Can I push out?
And break free?
Years of yearning.
Dark and deep.
In the blackness , still I weep.
Can I heal now? Can I sleep?
Can I hope now
This peace to keep?
No more sadness or sorrow too.
My sad memories gone of you.
All my grief struck in a song.
Now I see where we went wrong
Joy and laughter. Happy me,
I have more strength now.
Come and see.
