The Primary Tip for Basic Online Communication
The world's boundaries have significantly altered with the oceans breeched by online communication. These days we associate with people from around the world with a single keystroke. With the introduction of voice protocol talk really IS cheap.
This new age is a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow together as a people. We're given the opportunity to be introduced to various cultures, religions, and altering ways of life. We are held together by the commonality of our human intelligence and yearning for social interaction.
I feel the most vital tip for online communication is:
SHOW RESPECT
Respect your audience; they could be from any walk of life and be any age but you should respect them as a fellow human being and a person in their own right with their own emotions and opinions.
Respect the beliefs of others; allow them the right to think what they like. Each human has the right to decide which of the various religious beliefs will mould their lives.
Respect differences; they might not be like you but they don't have to be. Cultures, colors, ages, marital status, and homes can all vary from user to user. Use this opportunity to learn about different lives and respect those differences.
Respect yourself; use the kind of appropriate behavior that you would present to your friends and family. You might feel safe behind an alias but that doesn't make you any less the way you act.
Respect language; while mistypes and misspellings are forgivable it's important to try your best to be accurate. It shows respect for your online friends if you make it as easy as possible for them to understand what you're trying to communicate.
