Job outsourcing: Problem or solution

It is a new job world out there if you haven't noticed. People are starting to notice a change like scientists noticed Global Warming is real. The first change is women are taking over the working world. I am for this it has been a long time coming and they deserve everything they fought for. The downside is they are still not getting equal wages or equal treatment. The year is 2007 they are entitled to make the same wages. Why does it take this beautiful country of America so long to change for the better? It scares the growing population because what will the equality effect and who? I think many men are scared jobs seem to go quicker then ever but not for the right reasons. Many companies want to get cheaper and cheaper. Freelance which is a term that companies don't like to use but forcing people to take on. These big companies that shall remain nameless want to be able to cut medical, 401k plans, and downsize three jobs into one position. They want to overwork you sometimes or use you because they know the job market is shrinking. After the dreaded 9-11 big companies salivated, they weren't hitting their big numbers for the year and this was a perfect excuse to cut jobs and bring down salaries. In New York the cut backs were amazing to me they dropped salaries on people that had worked 15 years with a company knowing that they needed work and would take it. It gave the big companies a way to cut costs and change the way salaries were going which was up. It costs a lot to live in and around a city like New York, but companies don't care they care about their numbers. This is unfortunately where I think they love that women are available to work. I am 30 years old and I grew up with two parents one at home that didn't have to work. We lived good in little suburbia. Those days have passed and now it is the time that the man and woman or woman and woman or man and man must work. In my current industry of Entertainment the companies love this, they now know that both people are working in a household. The companies see the man working and getting medical so why does his wife or significant other need to make the same or get medical. This is where the conflict comes in for years we fight younger kids coming in the industry willing to work for a hundred dollars a day which is unlivable in the city or around it. But it is livable for a college kid with 12 roommates or a wife or significant other that has money coming in from the man. It has to be the case and the reason why I can't take some jobs. If I take a job that is undercutting the position in the industry they will catch wind of this and lower the bar. This is what brings me back to the main point. I see more and more women working and that is great but they need to get equal shares. Will the companies change their way? I think not. Like in Global Warming it is the people of the nation and the education to our children to stand up and change it. It is time to hear woman roar and the nation to back them.
