Addressing quality issues in hotels

Everyone has a certain standard they hold any business to, hotels should be no different. When you check into a hotel room, you should go directly to your room, make sure it is clean to your standards, and make sure everything in the room works properly. Most hotels have a window of about an hour in which they will change your room, or give you a refund. If you have a valid complaint, like if your sheets are dirty, your room wasn't vacuumed, or you don't have a working air conditioner or heater.

You should voice your concerns to the manager on duty, if they cannot help you, you should consult with the General Manager, if they are not able to help you, you should then call up the franchise managers, the front desk must supply you with this number if you request it. If any member of the staff is rude to you, you should immediately tell a manager about it. If for any reason you feel your situation was not handled to your expectations, let someone know.
