Everyone is afraid of something. Some people just take it to new extremes. I have found some of the weirdest phobias I have ever heard of. They consist of Cathisophobia,
Dextrophobia, Epistemophobia, Hedonophobia, and Hippopotomonstrosesquippedalio phobia. I know these sounds a bit out there and I know you won't be able to pronounce the last one but they are real phobias.

The first one, Cathisophobia is quite "different" in my opinion. It is the fear of sitting. Oh do you rest or something if you can't lay down, how do you work or travel? I mean come on.

The second one is Dextrophobia. This phobia is also very interesting. It is the fear or everything to the right of your body. So do you just not look at the right of you. What if you're crossing the street do you not look right to see if a car is coming?

Next, there is Epistemophobia. This is the phobia of knowledge. This is quite stupid to me. You are learning something new each and everyday even if you realize it or not.

Now there is Hedonphobia, which is the fear of feeling pleasure. How do you boost up your day or go through life with the fear of feeling pleasures. Do you try to avoid everything that makes you feel good?

The last one is quite different too. Hippopotomonstrosesquippedalio phobia is the fear of big words. Well if someone asks you what your afraid of don't give them the phobia name is all I can say. This phobia is probably why they are afraid of big words.

Clearly, you can see why these phobias are so weird. However, there are many weirder than these are.
