How to fund college if you're not rich

There are various ways to fund college. You should try not to accumulate too much debt, such as loans.

1. Start a college fund. A percentage of your allowance and money earned from work, such as running errands should go into this college fund. If you need to borrow from this college fund, make sure that you repay the fund with interest.

2. Find some work online such as freelance writing. A percentage should go into your college fund.

3. Apply for college scholarships. There are many different types of college scholarships. This information can be found online. You can also order books on college scholarships from Amazon.com.

A percentage of monies earned can go into your college fund.

5. Get a job while you are at college. This money can help pay for college.

Many prestigious colleges offer prestige if this is what you are seeking, but as far as learning, you can learn the same subjects and from qualified teachers at many different colleges and universities.
