Proactiv has been very helpful to help people with acne-prone skin, if you mix salicylic acid in addition to benzoyl peroxide, this will assist you with having the most optimum skin. Some products I swear by are easily affordable and can be found at your nearest drug store:

- Swiss Alps Scrub for Oily Skin
- Biore Pore Strips which are really good for blackheads
- Neutrogena Cleansers for Oily Skin are such a big help
- Clay masks that contain zinc are very helpful because it dries up the pimples and aides in balancing oil.
People with severe acne have gone as far as taking Accutane but I would strongly recommend against this as this prescription-only pill has some near fatal side effects

All in all, water! Our body is comprised more than 2/3 of water and we should heed to this fact by drinking as much water as possible daily; 6-8 cups is not totally necessary as we get water from other food sources as well.
