Who gives a rodent's gluteus maximus? If ya wanna wear your PJs in public, just do it!

Teen boys trying to imitate gansta rappers wear baggy, oversized pants with the waistline down around the middle of their butts. Teen girls wear peekaboo outfits that expose more skin than a Vegas hooker. So, what could be so wrong with strutting around in a relatively conservative pair of pajama pants?

Anyhow, there's nothing new about it. Old fogies like me can remember when Hollywood glamour gals wore big, flaring PJ slacks to premieres, Chasen's, Palm Springs and the Beverly Hills supermarket. Look up on the internet some outdoor publicity poses of such 30s and 40s hotties as Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Veronica Lake, Betty Grable and Hedy Lamarr. Don't be too surprised if you also see some shots of Hollywood guys in PJs, too.

While you're looking, search for some pix of Hollywood backyard parties of the time. If you remember the classic film, "Citizen Kane", you probably know it was based on the life of millionaire publisher William Randolph Hearst. There are many pix of movie stars relaxing in flowery PJ pants at his posh picnics on the grounds of his California castle.

So, if you're proud of your PJ pants, go out and flaunt them!
