Whether or not you are happy has nothing really to do with money. I have known rich people who are happy and those who are not. I have met people who don't have money who are very happy with their lives and those who always want more. Happiness is something you find within yourself, no one can make you happy and neither can money. If you are not a happy person to start out with than money will never change that. so the answer to the question of money and happiness is no I don't think that money really brings happiness but it sure helps. At least that is what I have been told. I do know that it was hard enough to raise my children but its even worse for my kids to afford their families. The cost of living has gone up at a much faster rate than the wages have that it has become so much harder to keep your head above water. They complain that it takes two incomes to support a family but at the rate the cost is rising, two incomes won't even make ends meet soon. This means that our children are going to be less educated than they are right now because the cost of educating them is becoming out of reach as our money is now being used just to give them the necessities. They wonder why the middle class is no more, well this is the reason. As everyone tries to get rich quick just remember as you raise your prices, demand higher wages, or use too many credit cards things are only going to get worse. So does money bring happiness, well maybe but I sure would like to test my theory by winning the lottery and finding out for myself.
