How to improve your beauty

Coco Chanel once said that there was no such thing as an ugly woman, only a lazy one. We witness the truth of these words in many of the lifetime channel programs such as "Ten Years Younger" and "What Not to Wear". With that being said, let's explore my top tips for improving your beauty:
Tip #1. True beauty comes from the inside out. No one can look their best unless vibrant health is at the core of their being. Learn everything you can about good health, good nutrition, proper exercise, and good living.

Tip#2: Eliminate all processed foods. That means all sugar, flour, chips, crackers, cereals, and basically everything that comes in a package. Replace those foods with whole foods- foods that have life force such as raw, unpasturized dairy; fermented fruits and vegetables; meat from animals that have been grass fed; and whole grains that have been properly soaked to allow for proper digestion.
Tip #3: Drink herbal infusions. Herbs prepared by putting one cup of herbs to three cups of boiling water and allowed to set for eight hours have medicinal qualities that will nourish your hair, skin, and entire endocrine system. Two such "beautifying" herbs are nettles and oatstraw.
Tip #4: Learn effective ways to counter stress. Unless we are fortunate enough to to live in an exclusive resort on the Caribbean, we all endure stress. We need to reduce that stress if we want to look our best because stress raises cortisol levels which interferes with hormone balance. Gentle exercise such as Tai Chi, Qigong, Svaroopa Yoga, and Restorative Yoga lower cortisol levels and slow down the aging process.
Tip#5: Get your beauty sleep. Sleep is called beauty sleep for a reason- during sleep our adrenal glands repair, kidney and liver function imroves, and the body literally rejuvenates every cell and organ. The more you can sleep before midnight, the more repair the body can do. In other words, the eight hours between 10PM and 6AM are more beneficial than the eight hours between midnight and 8AM. By lowering your cortisol levels (tip #4), you improve your chances of getting quality sleep. The inability to sleep soundly is an indicator of stressed adrenal glands.
Tip#6: Balance your hormones. Stress, improper diet, lack of sleep, and lack of self-nurture all lead to hormones out of balance. Herbal infusions, homeopathic remedies, and supplements with glandular extracts can put your hormones back into their proper place.
Tip #7. There is a book titled "Your Body Believes Every Word it Hears". Every night and every morning tell yourself that you are beautiful and that you are glad you are you. Your body will believe it, and in time your face will live up to its expectations.
Tip #8: Proper exercise. Exercise such as dancing, pilates, yoga, moderate free weights, qigong, and stretching enhance beauty because they emphasize breath, posture, muscle balancing, and they exercise your organs as well. Exercise such as spinning classes, long distance running, and other strenuous exercise drains important minerals, taxes the organs, and speeds up the aging process.
Tip#9: Use "food grade" skin care products such as Simply Divine Botanicals and Oshua from Wise Ways. These products are free of harmful ingredients that poison the liver. They gently cleanse, exfoliate, and nourish the skin. You want to feed the skin with food from both the inside and the outside.
Tip #10: Learn facial massage and perform it daily. When facial massage is used in conjunction with a good quality face oil, the skin will take on a healthy glow that will get you noticed.
