Patience and understanding are essential qualities to be acquired when dealing with a know-it-all type of person. Oftentimes, they are very high opinionated to the point that it crack your nerves. Put you to the edge and push your limits. Their opinion and ideas for such matters sometimes becomes a debate with both of you but be aware that they won't sometimes accept defeat. They will keep on pressing their ideas even if it becomes irrelevant and impertinent.

Having a thorough understanding about the way they think is important provided you have a lot of patience for them, making them understand your viewpoint as well will push you to the edge, sometimes they will contradict to yours and criticize if necessary. Their opinion matters to them, they keep on going to the point that they become talkative and just a mere talk without any gravity of the words they've said. They become annoying sometimes if you cannot guard your grounds. They can turn our blood to boil and can create a smoke into our nose.

You can do several ways on how to communicate with them:

1. When you talk to them, never leave your eyes from them. Eye to eye is the best way to knock them off, with that snake eyes of yours. If they look away, they become conscious and some of their ideas waves.

2. Just mere listen to them, do not put an input to ideas that sometimes lead to debate or something, it can make your blood burning and blood pressure to rise.

3. If you cannot take it anymore with them, ignoring is better.

4. Sometimes, using their lines and make it as a joke will really put them off the hook. You can apply it yourself with that witty and clever lines that will make you laugh inside and with that silent smile that you want to burst out every time you caught their ideas off guard.

5. Take it easy and read it between the lines. What they know is common with you, so don't think that they talk too much, you know less. Sometimes, people who know less will talk more while people who know much is just around the corner listening.

Know-it-all person are really annoying. It depends on how you deal with them. Just bear with it but don't push your limit. I had once a friend who thought that she know everything, it became her habit to talk with me. Sometimes, I ignore it but sometimes I had to yet if it became annoying I brushed the thought and keep on looking at her then say,"Did you say something?".
