Famous for being famous: When fame comes before (or without) talent

Being famous has enormous perks, that is why so many people are running after it. In good old days you needed to have talent to be famous, now times have changed. You can be famous just by being so.

Look around you and you will find plenty of example where people are famous for no apparent(or respectable) reason. Paris Hilton is famous, yes she is.But why? well she has tapes of her having sex with then boy friend and she comes from a rich and famous family. What about her talent? She has none. So why is she famous you ask? She is famous because she is, because she has sex tapes and photographers running around her taking her pictures and yes she is a "Hilton". This is a glowing example where people are famous without any talent.

Then there are instances where fame comes before talent. Look no further than very bubbly Jessica Simpson. Unlike Paris, she has talent, she can sing. But compare her singing ability with her fame and there you will find a sure imbalance. You see she is just another mediocre singer but look at how famous she is and you might think that she must sign really well.Compared to being famous without talent, it is better to have some talent to show off for your fame but when your fame surpasses your talent, it is something to think about.

Do you think in about 10 years people will remember Paris Hilton or Jessica Simpson? I don't think so. Fame is fickle and if you don't have on strong grounds of talent and hard work it will fall down.
