1) You have out grown the company. i.e Your own professional ability has grown beyond what the company requires or will ever require.

2) The employment has a culture which deminishes your self and professional respect in yourself! e.g An arts background based creative working in a strict corporate environment and vice versa.

3) Quite often a job will become obsolete and the employee will struggle on to make it work and continue on. This needs a wake up call and to move on.

4) You feel invisible! An employees role particularly in a large corporate environment can drift between roles, often becomeing a hybrid of lots of disciplines and master of none, and in a lot of cases the employee and there peers forget what they actually do?! This can lead to professional invisibility which is of no use other than to the lazy and bone idle.

5) You fancy a cultural change / break and changing town, city, state or country.
