Blood Diamond is a wonderful, action packed thriller.

Within the movie, a fisherman,Dijmon Hounsou, gets captured by rebel forces in Africa, and is enslaved. He is forced to sift for diamonds, and he finds a large, valuable pink one. One of the rebels in charge finds out about this diamond, and follows the man to find it.He is hurt in a raid, and blames the man. After that injury, they both get locked up in a holding area with other raid survivors. In the confines of the jail, the commander swears to find his family, and make the fisherman regret ever crossing him. The fisherman vows to find his family,and build his life back and when he does, his boy has been forced to serve in the rebels army.

Within the movies plot twist and turns, the fisherman meets an ex mercenary turned smuggler,Leonardo DiCaprio, who is willing to help the man find his family, and rescue his boy, for the precious diamond.

This touching story is realistic, and brings to light the truth about whats happening in Africa, and tells a wonderful story about two mens struggles within the continent.
