You don't always have to do this with words. It can be a simple gesture that conveys how much you love that special someone in your life.

My stomach always does a flip-flop when my other half winks at me with a warm smile. It may sound crazy but it's THAT LOOK that does it for me. When you've both been together for a while, you develop a series of gestures - touches, expressions and fond nicknames - that express how much you love each other, that mean little to anyone else.

And if you do say it with words, they don't have to be of the spoken kind. Every day during the time we've been together (almost four years) I have written a note and tucked it into my other half's sandwich at lunchtime (well okay, underneath it).

Sometimes they're funny, sometimes silly, sometimes loving, sometimes a doodle, and even sometimes they resemble a poem - if I find the inspiration to attempt one. It's not my best form of writing.

But there is always a note. And whatever form it may take, it's my way of expressing how much I love my partner.
