When we decide we deserve something it's often hard to wait for it. If you think you deserve a raise, but have yet to receive one be patient.
In many companies there is a lot of red tape and procedures that a boss must go through to get a raise approved. There may be finagling over how much of a raise to give, when the raise should go into effect etc ... But whatever the case may be you hounding your boss about when you're going to see that extra money will not do anything positive or get you that raise any sooner. It will most likely annoy your boss and may actually cause delays.
Try not to focus on your raise, focus on your job and the tasks you have to complete. If you obsess over when you're going to get that raise it's just going to make the wait that much harder and seem that much longer.
