How can I be sure of my salvation?

DO WHAT GOD SAYS! Men can be confusing, religion can be deceiving, personal emotions are fickled. Listen to God, do what He says.

First, God promises Salvation to ALL who believe or trust or have faith. For by grace are you saved through FAITH and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works so no man can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Second, It is imperative that our belief, our trust, our faith be in what God determines to be the object of our faith. The Bible is very clear that it is not in a church, our goodness, our religion, but in His Son Jesus Christ. Look at these verses about faith in Jesus.

But as many as received Him (Jesus) gave them the power to become the children of God. John 1:12

For God so loved the world that He gave His beloved Son that who ever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Neither is there salvation in any other, for there in no other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Third, Is your faith for your salvation in Jesus Christ and him ONLY? Or is your salvation based upon something else? (like: obeying the 10 commandments, being baptized, etc) Or is your salvation based upon Jesus and something? (like: Jesus and taking communion, Jesus and being confirmed, etc)

Look at the above verses again:
John 1:12 Receive Him
John 3:16 Believe in Him
Romans 10:9 Confess Him
Acts 4:12 No other name

The Bible contains an endless amount of verses that declare that Jesus is God's way for Salvation. So do you believe the PROMISES of God?
OR are you being confused by religion or deceived by men or tricked by your fickled emotions?

Jesus Himself said, 'I am the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but by Me.'

One more major issue. Once you have received salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, you CAN NOT LOSE it (your salvation). When you got saved, God placed you into the family of God and you are His child for ever. That's why we call it Eternal (forever) Life.

He is able to also to save them to the UTTERMOST that come unto God by Him, seeing He EVER lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25

You were SEALED with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the GUARANTEE of our inheritance until redemption. Ephesians 1:13-14

If any man sins, we have an ADVOCATE with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous and He is the satisfaction for our sins, 1 John 2:1-2

He saves to the uttermost.
We are sealed with the Holy Spirit.
He is our advocate.
