Common global warming myths

Global hysteria is rampant in the world today, and many myths support alleged "theories" that, by some in the scientific community, have already been deemed "indisputable as fact."

Some of these myths include the exaggeration of "man-made emissions" or our "carbon footprints", by which mankind directly is blamed responsibility for the current levels of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere.

When looking back at historical levels involving the rise and fall of greenhouse gasses, which are essential for the earth's troposphere to reduce the sun's harmful rays that would otherwise cause more damage than good; data is readily available to prove that throughout time, the earth's temperature has been moreso linked to the sun's core temperature (and fluctuating sunspots) than it's "economically-driven, industrialized nations" carbon emissions as some would have us believe.

While true that each of us has an impact on the carbon levels of today with our usage of energy, we must understand two very important facts before making a rash determination in blaming humans for Global Warming: One; energy is never fully efficient. Some energy will always be lost due to its very nature; "pure" energy doesn't functionally exist yet, and is being readily worked on in laboratories across the world to produce such a cleaner, faster burning, more efficient (less-polluting) source. Two; levels of carbon (dioxide, as in Global Warming) are and have forever been determined directly by the correlation of the sun's heat, which in effect regulates the processes by which plants, sea life and other animals/minerals thrive from the need of such carbon dioxide produced as a result (for breathing).

Among scientists, the accepted "high-estimate" level of carbon dioxide produced by all of mankind encircling the globe today is approximately 8 percent, but generally disputed around 5%. All of the ocean; volcanic activity; even the world's collective tree population, any of the these alone are collectively more damaging over the course of a year than the combined collective damage done by all human activity.

Some, like former Vice President Al Gore, have created terms for such a politically charged topic many have denounced as nothing more than a scare tactic to threaten the population into the "green" changes their econo/bio-friendly special-interest groups desire us to adhere to. Some include "carbon footprint", "carbon-neutral", and even "carbon-offset". Interestingly, none of these terms, while
