If Helium Knowledge were to remove the ban on "adult only" questions, the quality and value of the site would be seriously compromised. One of the best benefits of this site is the fact that it is someplace that anyone - of any age - can come to for information and knowledge; students can come here for help with homework, adults can come here for help with real world problems and issues, and everyone that comes here learns something new and useful. I have to wonder what, if any useful knowledge could come from any "adult only" questions that might be posted without the ban.

There are many other sites that allow adult content and free-for-all type posts. However, most of those sites are also full of useless and low quality posts. It benefits us all for Helium to prevent that sort of posting on this site. If the quality of Helium's content were to fall, then so would everyone's income.

So, no, they should definitely not remove the ban on adult only content from this site. They should continue to strive to improve the quality of the site and it's contents, thereby helping all of us to keep increasing our earnings.
