Clashing noise of city life;
country night, stars shine bright.
Ocean's waves kiss the shore;
mountains echo, rains that pour.
Rainbows arc with color trails;
storms resound like banshee wails.
Rising sun greets the day;
sandman plays in moonbeam rays.
Nature's Spring, brings reprieve;
Winter's snow, falls like leaves.
Music from our glorious earth;
melodies giving birth.

The tears have dried.
Sticky, inflexible residue remains, stretched taut on hot cheeks like a fragile sheet
