Back in the year 2050 a horrible bacteria, called Brac-Nerum, ravaged the planet Earth. A planet about 10 billion light years away from Earth was the only source for a cure. The disease held strong for over 20 years spreading throughout the entire world. The planet called Pure finally came.
The people that lived there were also known as Pure. They traveled to the Earth and destroyed the Brac-Nerum. However, when they returned they fell to the control of the bacteria. Their deaths were more painful because it took longer for it to spread through them.

Only three of Pure escaped from the ravaging disease and traveled to other planets to start over. A man, whose name was Nel, traveled to the planet Earth. Nel met a woman when he landed. Her name was Serenity and took him in to heal and start over. They soon fell in love and got married.
These two had a daughter whom they named Shira. They felt as if they would live together happily ever after. But Nel could not live off the Earths food and had run out of his supply of Pure food. He try hard to choke down the Earth food but would end up throwing it back up. He was growing weaker, by the time his daughter was five months he died. Serenity was in distress because if the disease Brac-Nerum ever returned who would destroy it?
Now this half-Earthling and half-Pure is living a life here on Earth.

"Excitement fills the air as the first space station to be nine billion light years away is being opened up to the wide spread of the world," said a news reporter on television, "A hand full of people here in America have been chosen to spend ten days on this space station. Mark Livin has volunteered to have his television show, TTS, go and shot everyday life on this station."
The television turned off. A girl looked up at the television and flicked her hair out of her eyes. There sat a startling girl, her golden brown hair shimmered without any light and her light blue eyes shimmered with happiness. Her whole being seemed to radiate with a mysterious light not known to human kind.
"Well," she said turning around to look at a woman sitting behind her, "Tad gets to go with his dad and they will be recording the whole thing, I'm so happy for him, I wish I could."
The woman lifted her head up from her cross-stitching. She had short brown hair and deep blue eyes. She gave Shira a smile. This was Serenity and she feared greatly for her daughter wondering and worrying if she could end up
