it can be demonstrated through the research of scientists and historians that the concept of vampirism and the hysterias created by this concept are a direct result of the misdiagnosis of diseases such as anemia, catalepsy, photoporphyria, and rabies due to the lack of scientific and medical knowledge that existed during the time frames in which vampire hysterias were prevalent.
