Great Theme Ideas
(All of which I have used and/or suggested to friends at one point or another)

Famous Couples (Anthony and Cleopatra)
- doesn't necessarily have to be boy and girl couples. A group of three people can come dressed as the Three Stooges.

The Vampire Chronicles (Lestat, Louis, Akasha, etc.)
- Vampires...Anne Rice style

70's Grind house Movies
- this has more to do with the look of the party atmosphere...lots of random body parts and fake blood...something right out of a horror movie.

Clue, the Board Game
- This would be especially fun to act out. You could set up a live version of the game according to the different rooms in your house, and you could even make up new weapons and character names, based on the people that show up. (Mr. Happy pants killed Mr. Body in the downstairs bathroom, in the tub.)

A great place to start looking for Halloween supplies is any kind of huge Halloween surplus store. If you live in Riverside, California, there is one right behind the mall. Its chock full of costumes, Hollywood make up, masks...just so much! It would also be a good idea to check out stores along Hollywood BLVD in Hollywood. Lots of stores there. Find on in your area. Pary City is another good place.

Once you have your theme, do a lil research to get a definite look.

Invite people, tell them the theme. They will be just as creative as you.
