Best ways to write a fight scene

This first thing you have to decide when writing a fight scene is this going to be for print or for film. If it is for print make sure you add detail of the fight and the emotional impact it has on each character involved and even some of the bystanders. Be sure you lead into the fight scene with the confrontation of emotions and setting. Discuss your character or characters approach and their awareness of their surroundings.
If you are going to write a really good fight scene then get someone that knows how to fight. Learn what the techniques are and how they affect the body when applied. Learn about the flow of the art of fighting or defending. Is your character well taught in the art of fighting or do they limited experience only from childhood fights from the school ground? If a weapon is involved then talk to someone about how you use the weapon and what it is for. This makes it so much easier to work through a scene without being incorrect how technique's and weapon's affect the fight. Otherwise use your imagination and go wild! This is one of the most fun kind of scene's to write.
