Tegan and Sara are phenomenal young musicians who were born identical twins in Canada, in the year 1980. Tegan and Sara's music career started after they won a "Garage Warz" competition in Calgary, Alberta. Tegan and Sara fit into the indie rock and indie pop musical genres.

The duo has tours with many great, well known musical acts such as Neil Young, The Killers, Cake, Bryan Adams, Weezer and Sarah McLachlan to name a few. Tegan and Sara are signed with the label Vapor Records in the United States and in Canada they are signed with the Universal Music Group label.

Tegan and Sara's first album, titled "Under Feet Like Ours" was actually released under the name "Sara and Tegan" due to someone else signing them up for the "Garage Warz" competition under this name, although the girls decided to change the name to Tegan and Sara, because that is how they are referred to by family members.

Aside from singers and guitar players Tegan and Sara, other band members currently include Rob Chursinoff on drums, Chris Carlson on bass guitar, and Ted Gowans on guitar and keyboards.

Tegan and Sara have released several albums including "Yellow Demo", "Red Demo", "Orange Demo", "Under Feet Like Ours", "This Business of Art", "If It Was You", "So Jealous", and "The Con". The band has also released several single and music videos.
