BlackBerry products have garnered quite the reputation for being bulky, excessive mobile devices that often cause addictions among users, who become obsessively attached to the means of their worldwide, unceasing communication; however, the BlackBerry Pearl stands very much apart from the rest of its counterparts within the BlackBerry product line.

Featuring the same advanced e-mail capabilities and diverse multimedia tools boasted by most of the BlackBerry product line, the Pearl differentiates itself with an ultra sleek, much thinner design than its competitors.

Unlike many of the other BlackBerry smartphones available to consumers, the Pearl also offers a built-in digital camera which users can use in a variety of different ways depending on their personal or business needs.

Although BlackBerry products typically offer a higher standard of technology and service than many other of its leading competitors, the Pearl is certainly a light-weight, user-friendly, and affordable alternative to many of the more business-oriented smartphones available on the market to date. My personal favorite feature, however, remains the Pearls' capacity to extend its coverage globally through a quad-band system that allows users to roam the globe internationally while retaining service. If you're a globe-trekker, you should definitely consider the Pearl!
