Celebrities have an amazing power. They can make anything look intriguing. They set trends we never thought of. We want to be them. We may even wish we were. They seem so interesting. They are rich and famous. It is the American dream. We think that if their style works for them, it should work for us also.
A celebrity could wear a bologna sandwich on their head as a hat and there would be a worldwide shortage of bologna. We think it must be cool if someone like that does it. As long as there are stars, we will always have someone to follow and something to wish upon.
I have two words for you. "Flava-Flav" You know the guy. He wears a giant clock around his neck. I bet he never forgets the time. I also bet he has chronic back pain. The power of a clock necklace is unlimited or so it seems.
What about all the celebrities that have graced the pages of Playboy over the years? Their appearances did more than appeal to men. Playboy catalogs are everywhere. It is human nature to want to be like someone else. We all need role models. We all want someone we can be like. Celebrities seem so untouchable. They seem so perfect. Perhaps, we may secretly believe that the more we dress or act like them, the more we can be them. Imitation is a great form of flattery or so they say.
