Exodia is one of the ways in the Yu-Gi-Oh card game that you can achieve victory without depleting your opponents life points. This is one of the only other alternate ways of winning the game other then the FINAL combination, but how exactly do you win or use and Exodia deck?
In the legend of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game we find out that Exodia was a monster of such enormous and frightening power that he had to be sealed away in 5 separate parts. Because of this we see Exodia appear on 5 separate cards, 2 legs, 2 arms, and 1 head. If a player has all 5 of these pieces in his hand at one time then they automatically win the game, but obtaining all these pieces at one time is rather hard.
Deck thinning is the number one key in winning with an Exodia deck. You only get to draw 1 card per turn, so you want the probability of that card being Exodia or one of his pieces to be high. To do this use cards that will search out other monsters from your deck and place them on the field. Mystic Tomato, Giant Rat, Nimble Momanga and many more monsters have this effect. Also the Yellow, Green, and Red Gadget monsters are a must for deck thinning purposes.
Draw power is also important. Try and utilize as much draw power as possible in order to get to your Exodia pieces fast. Pot of Avarice, Des Locada, Jar of Greed and Dark World Dealings are all good choices.
Emissary of the Afterlife is going to be a key monster in your deck. When Emissary is destroyed then you get to select any Exodia piece from you deck and place it in your hand. This will help a lot in getting to a victory much faster, and more efficiently. Also cards like Backup Soldier are a must for returning lost pieces of Exodia from your graveyard to your hand. And please try and save the Head of Exodia as the last in the line of pieces you obtain, because it's the only one that you can't get back!
With these strategies in mind and the tips listed you too can build a reliable and successful Exodia deck!
